Spooky Ghouls & Goblins

I love Halloween…always have.  I love a good haunted house, creepy story or scary movie.  When we were in Kingston this summer, we went on the Haunted Walk of Kingston tour. It was fun and was steeped in haunted house lore from one of Canada’s most historic little cities.

I wanted to document this experience and so when I was up on the JustNick team to do a layout for today, the timing was perfect to tell this story.  I used the Spider Web 2 Background and the Scary Stuff cut files for my layout.

I offset the large spider web to the right, leaving room on the left for the large title.  Using a large title is a great design for using up some white space on a layout.  When you have a cool cut file for the title, it then becomes a sweet feature for the layout.  I used two 3.5 square photos and bits and pieces from Doodlebug Boos and Brews collection to create the layout.
