Twenty-3

At some point, I blinked and my baby was turning 23…that is a little startling!! We celebrated her birthday together this year since I was in the city for a workshop and it landed on just the perfect date. It was nice to be with her for her birthday…that doesn’t always work out. Brady got her an icecream cake, so I snapped this photo in my layout of her with the cake.

I love the layout design with the center circle focal point. It just seems very pleasing to the eye and gives a great starting point for building a layout. I decided to cut the circle using my Cameo and then back the circle with the bow embossed vellum paper from Carousel (from Crate Paper/Maggie Holmes). I popped up the overlay over the vellum using some craft foam, then completed the layout using products from Carousel. Check out the video link below for all of the layout details!
