There is something so very appealing to me about fall this year…I think it might be the result of a scorching hot prairie summer with little rain…or the fact that fall will bring winter, winter will bring Christmas and Christmas will bring my boy home to me again!! My layout today is about being thankful for having this lad in my life and for the knowledge that he has settled into his new home and seems to be happy. We miss him so much…I have to say I really understand how my mom used to miss my sister when she moved thousands of miles away. It is not a good feeling. But I am hoping it is temporary and we will savor our video chats and times together even more.
Now for the layout…I used the gorgeous Carta Bella “Hello Fall” collection on this layout. This is a stunning collection! Check out the beautful papers in the layout…the texture, colors and designs are just lovely.
I used a Tim Holtz mask on the kraft cardstock and some gold Color Shine to create the harlequin pattern on the background.
