Summer Trip

Italy in the summer time…let’s all pause and enjoy that thought, lol. My son and his gf traveled to Italy for two weeks recently, making their way virtually from the top to bottom of the beautiful countryside. They did so many fun things and were so gracious to send me photos!!

I had to scrap this selfie they took on a balcony of the Victor Emmanuel II monument in Rome; Monumento Nazionale a Vittorio Emanuele II is an enormous white marble monument that dominates Piazza Venezia and was built as a tribute to the first king of a united Italy, Victor Emmanuel II. It’s a good picture of these two!

I have used the Summer cut file from JustNick Studio as well as Take me to Paradise.  The Summer title piece is a major feature on the layout; backing a cut file with patterned paper for a title is a great way to occupy the real estate of a layout and make an impact…and create a great title! I love how this looks.  I used some gold glitter paper to cut the foliage pieces from Take me to Paradise as accents around the photo.

Here are some photos and a link to the details/process video.

Thanks for stopping by!!
