Vellum Over Watercolors

I love to use embossing powder on vellum!  This creates such a lovely result, so I decided to use some of my Jane Davenport bright watercolors as a backdrop with the vellum/embossing technique.

I used some Ranger watercolor paper as my base and then did some loose watercolor/smooshing.  I used teal, pink and yellow as my color palette.  For the embossing on vellum, I chose the gorgeous Peony Bouquet stamp set from Altenew…love this set!!  I embossed the images with Gold Enchantment Nuvo embossing powder…so pretty.

I adhered the vellum to the watercolor paper and voila, the card starts to come together.  I finished off the project with some Recollections glitter paper and a thanks die from Simon Says Stamp.
