Hey, thanks for stopping by my blog today! I have been sooooo far behind in the last couple of weeks; such is life for teachers in May and June…the things to do just never end. It’s a good busy, but I always miss my creative pleasures when I get busy with work stuff.
We are getting our home in the city ready for the market, so that has meant many trips to the city and making plans for that. We also have been helping both of our kids through some pretty big changes they have going on in their lives as well…this all adds up to absolute craziness, lol.
So what have been up to for crafty stuff?? Kelly Barron and I did a “Choose Five Things” challenge for April 21st and Scrap the Challenge #33. This was lots of fun! I ended up choosing papers from Paige Evans, a yellow Gelato, chipboard alphas, die cuts, and a sticker booklet.
I decided to cut my patterned paper into strips and weave the papers into a mat for my photo mat. I like how this turned out. I created a base for the mat using the yellow Gelato on some white cardstock. Here are some photos and a link to the video:
I had so much fun creating this…I hope you enjoy it, too 🙂
Have an amazing day; you deserve it!!
