Mixing Different Companies

Hi friends! It is Tuesday, July 23rd…where is the summer going? I am at the cottage and diving into my stash of products to create some fun cards! Today, I am combining Gina K, Memory Box and Poppy Stamps supplies to create a pretty project to share with you! I have linked to all of the products I have used if you want to shop for any of these supplies!

I started with an A2 top folding white card base created from some heavy cardstock. I used the beautiful Memory Box Glimmering Gladiola 6×6 Paper Pack to create the gorgeous floral background. This paper has foil detailing and is just exquisite. I used Gina K Master Layouts 2 to cut the patterned paper, giving that faux stitched detail.

I used the ornate frame from Gina K masterlayouts 12 and cut three pieces from white cardstock. I stacked and glued those together to create the white cardstock ornate frame behind the die cut butterfly. I cut the Poppy Stamps Nordic Floral Butterfly Dies from white cardstock and Matte Gold cardstock to create the focal point. I ink blended some areas of the butterfly with Gina K Light, Medium and Dark Orchid inks.

I used the Gina K Designs Sending You a Smile Clear Stamps and die set to create the greeting on the inside of the card! I love how this turned out! I stacked the word “smile” with three die cuts to create the dimension!

I enjoy combining different companies products to create a project…it is a great way to use your stash and create some pretty cards!

Thanks for stopping by my blog today! I hope your day is as awesome as you are!

Beautiful Penny Black

Hi friends, I hope you are enjoying a lovely day! I am currently at the cottage and taking some time to make some cards with newer products I have not had a chance yet to use.

I absolutely love anything from Penny Black! I have a nice collection of their stamps and dies and I love to reach for them, especially when I am in the mood to watercolor. I have linked to the products I used. If anything is out of stock, just click the Notify Me button, and you will get an email when the items are available.

I cut a piece of watercolor paper to an A2 size and used the Tim Holtz Spots stencil and some AlteNew Limestone Ink for the background. I stamped the flowers using the “Overflowing” stamp set and the cup using the “Brew-tea-ful” stamp set. I used black waterproof ink. I used Distress Ink in Abandoned Coral, Speckled Egg and Rustic Wilderness to watercolor the stamped images. I used the “Blooms” stamp for the sentiment. I added some white splatter and clear gems to finish the card! Simple, but really pretty with these gorgeous stamps and dies from Penny Black!

Thank you for stopping by my blog today!

Have a wonderful week!

Spellbinders Rainbow Slice Tunnel

Hi friends! Welcome back to my blog! How is your summer going? I have not been spending much time in my craft room except for a few moments here and there. I recently purchased some new Spellbinders releases and am having a lot of fun with them! All of the text in gray is product links used for my project. If you are looking for these products, you can click the links to shop!

The Rainbow Slice Tunnel die set is so cool! The set includes 31 dies allowing you to cut the tunnel and then all of the florals and foliage to embellish! I cut the tunnel pieces from some different shades of purple cardstock and then used light blue, yellow and gold to cut the embellishments. I splattered with beautiful gold splatter to complete the card and used the Spellbinders Typewriter Adventures stamp set for the greeting!

Thank you so much for stopping by my blog today! Please let me know in the comments if you have any questions!

Fun New Nautical Themed Spellbinders

Hi friends! I have a new card project to share today using some very cool new Spellbinders dies, stencils and stamps! All of the highlighted text is products used. These are direct links to the products!

I started my card with the Spellbinders Uncharted Waters stencil set. I stenciled the background scene using Distress Oxide Inks in Salty Ocean, Lost Shadow, Crushed Olive, Rustic Wilderness, Hickory Smoke, Black Soot, and Tumbled Glass. Once I had the scene stenciled, I die cut it with a stitched rectangle die .

I used the Oh, Buoy and Guiding Light die sets to die cut the different elements for embellishing the card. I used a craft knife to cut a slot in the background to insert the lighthouse and the post. This gives more of an impression that these elements are protruding from the rock or water.

The stamp set used for the sentiment is called Typewriter Adventure and it is an amazing set for a ton of different occasions!

The die I used for the sentiment banner is a very old one from my stash by My Favorite Things.

I hope you are inspired by my project! It was so fun to create and could be given for almost any occasion!

I hope you have a wonderful day!
