Hi everyone! Welcome to my blog! I am sharing a holiday card I made this weekend using the beautiful Paper Artsy Hot Picks Xmas 11 stamp set! Such a beautiful red rubber set!
I stamped the tree and text with Versafine Nocturne ink onto white cardstock and then added clear embossing powder over the ink and melted it with my heat tool. I blended some Distress Oxide inks over the stamping (colors in the supply list below). I splattered with clean water. Once dry, I splattered with silver watercolor.
I die cut the white stamped and inked paper with the Penny Black Antique Frames die. I cut a piece of white cardstock slightly larger than the stamped paper and adhered that to the back of the card front. I cut another frame, one size larger, from navy cardstock and layered that behind the white. I added these to a white A2 top folding card base. I have used foam tape between layers.
I stamped and heat embossed (silver) the sentiment. I die cut the sentiment with the Penny Black die set and edged the piece with ink. I embellished with Spellbinders and Simon Says Stamp die cuts! The ribbon added is from Michaels!
I had so much fun creating this card! I hope this inspires you to get started on your holiday projects or to get creative!

Hi everyone! I am sharing a card I made recently using some newer Spellbinders products…I love the new Take Note collection and the little Push Pin Note die set is adorable!
I die cut the note piece from white cardstock and inkblended Gina K Medium Orchid onto the paper. I die cut the flowers from various colors of Spellbinders Colorwheel cardstock (it’s the best paper!!). I cut an A2 piece of white cardstock and embossed it with the Cross My Heart embossing folder. I used the Envelope of Wonder stamp set to add the sentiment to the ink blended note paper. Once I had all of the pieces prepared, I assembled the card as shown on an A2 white top folding card base!

Hi friends! It is Tuesday, July 23rd…where is the summer going? I am at the cottage and diving into my stash of products to create some fun cards! Today, I am combining Gina K, Memory Box and Poppy Stamps supplies to create a pretty project to share with you! I have linked to all of the products I have used if you want to shop for any of these supplies!
I started with an A2 top folding white card base created from someheavy cardstock. I used the beautiful Memory Box Glimmering Gladiola 6×6 Paper Pack to create the gorgeous floral background. This paper has foil detailing and is just exquisite. I used Gina K Master Layouts 2to cut the patterned paper, giving that faux stitched detail.
I used the ornate frame from Gina K masterlayouts 12 and cut three pieces from white cardstock. I stacked and glued those together to create the white cardstock ornate frame behind the die cut butterfly. I cut the Poppy Stamps Nordic Floral Butterfly Dies from white cardstock and Matte Gold cardstock to create the focal point. I ink blended some areas of the butterfly with Gina K Light, Medium and Dark Orchid inks.
I enjoy combining different companies products to create a project…it is a great way to use your stash and create some pretty cards!
Thanks for stopping by my blog today! I hope your day is as awesome as you are!
